Sunrise, sunset

I think one of my favorite movies of all time is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind by Michel Gondry. I guess because it's so memorable, but I think mostly because it's so well shaped to fit into your life that you think it's a movie that God made to tell you that it's alright.


Sure, you couldn't not cry, but in the end you feel just that little bit better. The movie shows you without doubt that no matter how bad it got, if you were given the option of erasing him/her from your memory, you wouldn't because it would mean letting go of every great memory, every great feeling, everytime you felt that this was the best day of your life.

And in the end, the only thought and feeling you could have walking away is that it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.
