What? Listen to children? That's ridiculous. They're younger! They don't know anything! Listen to children... HAH!IT IS important that parents listen to the views expressed by their children, Sri Murugan Centre (SMC) director Datuk Dr M. Thambirajah said.
Tamil Nesan reported that Dr Thambirajah had told parents that they could decide later whether the views expressed by their children were acceptable.
He was speaking to reporters after launching the five-year educational development programme for Indian students who are taking the SPM examinations in Kuala Lumpur.
“Parents usually assume that their children are ignorant and will not listen to the views of their children,” he said, adding that while education is being provided in schools and at SMC, parents must ensure that love and support are given at home.
