From NST: Thaipusam declared a public holiday for Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya:

PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has announced that the Government has declared Thaipusam a public holiday for Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. This year’s Thaipusam falls on Wednesday (Jan 23).

Awesome.

From NST: 30 held over indecency:

BUTTERWORTH: State Islamic Religious Department officers detained 15 couples for behaving indecently in public at three places here early yesterday.

Enforcement chief Faizal Ibrahim said the couples, aged between 20 and 40, were found in compromising positions along the beach and in parked cars.

I probably shouldn't laugh at this. But haha.
